From Patient Support to End-to-End Care: RxPx CEO featured on The Healthcare Blog

In a recent The Healthcare Blog (THCB) Spotlight interview, Matthew Holt sat down with Lynda Brown-Ganzert, CEO of RxPx, to discuss the evolution of digital health solutions for patients and healthcare providers. Lynda, who previously founded Curatio, has been at the forefront of patient-centric technology, and her journey has led to the formation of RxPx—a company that seamlessly integrates patient and clinician support into one comprehensive platform.

The Origins: Curatio and RxMx

Curatio was founded with a vision to create a “social health prescription”—a platform that connected patients with similar conditions while providing evidence-based information and tracking tools to improve adherence and navigation. At the same time, on another continent (Australia), RxMx was tackling a different problem: helping doctors onboard and monitor patients on specialty therapies to ensure safety and compliance.

It was through a conversation with Matthew Holt that Lynda recognized the opportunity to merge these two complementary approaches. In 2022, Curatio and RxMx joined forces, forming RxPx, an integrated solution that bridges the gap between healthcare providers and patients, creating an end-to-end support system.

Addressing the Challenges in Specialty Therapy

Specialty therapies are becoming more prevalent, with two-thirds of newly approved treatments in the next five years expected to fall into this category. These therapies often require rigorous monitoring, risk mitigation strategies, and enhanced patient engagement to ensure adherence.

RxPx operates on a B2B SaaS model, licensing its platform primarily to pharmaceutical manufacturers, research organizations, patient advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and clinical trial teams. The core pain points they address include:

  • Patient Safety: Ensuring proper onboarding and monitoring of specialty therapy patients.
  • Adherence: Providing tools to track appointments, medication schedules, and side effects.
  • End-to-End Integration: Offering a seamless experience for both patients and healthcare providers, eliminating the need for piecemeal solutions.

Enhancing Patient Experience with AI & Human Support

Patients using RxPx benefit from a combination of peer support and expert guidance. Each patient is assigned a community manager—an individual with experience in their condition, who could be a nurse, case manager, or peer mentor. Additionally, RxPx integrates an AI-driven “buddy” that proactively learns about a patient’s journey, offering reminders, resources, and support.

Unlike traditional chatbots, which rely on reactive responses, the RxPx AI buddy anticipates patient needs and delivers proactive assistance. This hybrid approach fosters connection, reduces isolation, and has been shown to improve adherence through social accountability and personalized engagement.

A Look at the HCP Experience

The RxPx platform isn’t just for patients—it also empowers healthcare providers. The HCP portal, designed with input from doctors and neurologists, allows clinicians to:

  • Organize patients into treatment stages (onboarding vs. maintenance mode).
  • Receive real-time alerts about patient progress and safety concerns.
  • Access streamlined workflows to support specialty therapy management.

This intuitive system ensures that healthcare professionals can efficiently monitor and engage with their patients, making specialty therapy management smoother and more effective.

The Future of RxPx

Since the merger, RxPx has continued to scale, increasing its reach from tens of thousands of users to a significantly larger global audience. With its innovative blend of AI-driven technology and human connection, RxPx is redefining how pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and patients navigate specialty therapies.

As digital health continues to evolve, RxPx stands out as a leader in creating a truly integrated solution that enhances safety, adherence, and patient outcomes.
