We are looking to add an experienced Full-Time Lab Coordinator to join our amazing team and further our efforts in partnering with organizations in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences segment.
This role is open to candidates in the United States.
The Role:
The Lab Coordinator will support patients on high-risk therapies by ensuring timely and accurate laboratory compliance management. This role is central to maintaining data integrity, managing lab results, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders—including clients, field teams, vendors, and healthcare providers. The Lab Coordinator will also contribute to process improvements, quality assurance activities, and the delivery of a seamless experience for patients and customers.
Responsibilities:
Lab Compliance Management
Process incoming forms and pathology results, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
Investigate missing or incomplete lab results, including outreach for recollection or new orders.
Accurately match unmatched patient results and escalate discrepancies when needed.
Prepare compliance reports and communicate lab non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.
Manage vendor complaints and track Central Lab Account Numbers.
Provide timely documentation of issues, resolution steps, and data for performance reporting.
Participate in team calls to share updates, provide insights, and suggest process improvements.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, management, quality, development) to address customer concerns and support lab monitoring.
Stakeholder & Customer Support
Act as point of contact for vendor and customer queries.
Liaise with external partners (e.g., pharma field teams, providers, labs) to resolve compliance issues end-to-end.
Provide technical support and training for field teams using the support portal.
Manage adverse event reporting (as applicable).
Lab Order & Data Management
Support digital lab ordering for providers not using the RxPx portal.
Digitize and manage lab orders, including demographic matching, suspensions, and updates.
Process incoming faxes and ensure accurate data capture when electronic integration is not available.
Monitor and resolve overdue labs, mismatched results, and provider order issues.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Perform monthly audits and contribute to QA and quality control initiatives.
Support client program audits by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with SOPs.
Identify and recommend improvements to lab monitoring workflows and systems..
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in biology. Chemistry, or biochemistry or medical laboratory science.
Diploma in Laboratory Technology
Experience in healthcare, laboratory coordination, case management, or a related role.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.
Familiarity with adverse event reporting, clinical documentation, or compliance processes is a plus.
