The Role:
We are seeking a visionary Senior Director / Vice President of Digital Health Commercial Strategy to lead the integration of digital health solutions into clinical roles and commercial brand strategies executives. This is a senior commercial leadership role, ideal for someone with a deep understanding of digital health, clinical drug development, strong commercial acumen, and an extensive network of pharmaceutical and industry contacts.
This role is open to candidates in North America.
The Senior Director of Digital Health Commercial Strategy will be responsible for the integration of digital health solutions into brand strategies within life science organizations. Focus across many therapeutic areas, ensuring they drive measurable, clinical and commercial impact,improve patient engagement and support HCPs and Care teams. This role requires a proven leader with deep knowledge of digital health, clinical trial experience, a strong commercial mindset, and an extensive network of pre-commercial roles and pharmaceutical brand executives and industry stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between digital innovation, clinical, brand teams, and external partners—turning digital tools and platforms into differentiated commercial advantages.
Objectives of the Role
Lead digital health strategy aligned to clinical brand and commercial goals.
Work directly with clinical and brand executives to design impactful digital programs.
Leverage strong industry networks to accelerate adoption and partnerships.
Translate digital health innovation into measurable commercial impact.
Partner with brand executives, franchise leads, and commercial teams to design and implement aligned digital initiatives.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for digital health collaborations that expand market reach and strengthen brand value.
Work with regulatory, legal, and compliance to ensure programs meet evolving standards.
Build business cases and financial models to demonstrate ROI from digital health programs.
Champion patient-centric approaches in brand planning.
Serve as a senior point of contact for external partnerships with startups, vendors, and data providers.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in digital health clinical development and/or pharma commercialization.
Advanced degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven track record integrating digital into Pharmaceutical brand strategies.
Extensive network of pharmaceutical executives on both clinical and commercial side of life science organizations.
Strong business acumen and experience demonstrating ROI.
Excellent communication and partnership skills.
Knowledge of commercialization models in pharma/biotech, market access, clinical, patient support.
Experience with patient engagement solutions, digital therapeutics, or digital biomarkers.
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of building external partnerships with startups, vendors, or technology providers.
Business acumen with expertise in financial modeling, market strategy, and ROI measurement.
